Aber auch in L\u00e4ndern, die sich historisch und kulturell sehr \u00e4hnlich sind, kann es nicht unwesentliche Unterschiede geben. Beachtet man diese nicht, entstehen Missverst\u00e4ndnisse oder man befindet sich pl\u00f6tzlich in einer etwas peinlichen Situation.<\/p>\n

Ist man sich der Unterschiede nicht bewusst, kann es jedoch schwer sein, diese zu beachten. Es geht also vor allem darum zu wissen, worauf man achten sollte. Wer im Ausland wohnt, lernt die kulturellen Unterschiede mit der Zeit kennen. Wenn man jedoch nur im Urlaub im Ausland ist oder pl\u00f6tzlich Kollegen aus einem anderen Land bekommt, ist es schon schwieriger.<\/p>\n

Kennt man die wichtigsten falschen Freunde zwischen zwei Sprachen ist man gut ger\u00fcstet, um peinliche Situationen im Umgang mit ausl\u00e4ndischen Kollegen oder auf Reisen zu vermeiden.<\/p>\n

Stellen Sie sich vor, zu welchen Missverst\u00e4ndnissen es f\u00fchren kann, wenn man auf Englisch schreibt, der Chef sei \u201eretarded\u201c, also geistig nicht auf der H\u00f6he, weil dies im Franz\u00f6sischen \u201eversp\u00e4tet\u201c bedeutet.<\/p>\n
