Bodylab was not happy with their existing setup and translation partner and wanted to find a new one. With their existing provider, it was difficult for Bodylab to figure out what they actually got for their money and moreover the delivery times were often too long. Apart from the lack of transparency, the workflow of handling the translation jobs was not optimum.
Everything had to be done by e-mail, and it was difficult to follow the status of what tasks had been initiated, the progress of the tasks and whether the translations had been delivered. A team of preferred linguists was established to translate Bodylab’s texts from Danish into Finnish, Swedish and Norwegian. This ensures high quality and that even tight deadlines can be met. Moreover, the prices are fully transparent, and a price per word is agreed for pure translation and another price per word is agreed for creative translation where a copywriter subsequently revises the texts and adds his or her own creative touches. In addition, no minimum price is charged for the jobs which is often the case with other agencies.
The workflow makes it easy and straightforward to order tasks. Stefan from Bodylab sends and receives all tasks via the customer portal (SmartDesk).
